Our heart
Diamond in the Rough walks alongside women who are ready to rediscover who they are beyond what they have survived. Women strengthen self-esteem and character, develop leadership qualities, learn practical life and relationship skills, and reconnect with the woman beneath the responsibilities, trauma, mistakes, labels and years of survival.
We welcome single mothers, grandmothers and kinship caregivers, survivors, veterans, longtime caregivers, and women rebuilding after incarceration, addiction, poverty, loss or other major life changes. No woman has to fit one label or disclose every part of her story to belong.
Program focus
Teaching, mentorship and sisterhood help women examine old patterns and practice healthier ones.
Rebuilding self-esteem, confidence, healthy boundaries and personal worth.
Strengthening character, communication, personal presentation, decision-making and healthy relationships.
Developing leadership, self-advocacy, goal setting, service and responsible influence.
Equipping mothers, grandmothers and kinship caregivers to strengthen themselves and their families.
Helping women rebuild after incarceration, addiction, destructive relationships, poverty or major disruption.
Creating accountability, encouragement and dependable relationships.
Generational impact
Healthier choices can strengthen parenting, relationships and the example passed to children and grandchildren. The goal is not simply survival, but intentional living.
Retreat experiences
Retreats create distance from daily demands and space to learn, connect and consider new possibilities.
Women reconnect with God and with themselves through prayer, Scripture, worship, honest reflection and guided experiences. They are invited to explore purpose and learn ways to redirect pain rather than let it define what comes next.

PWP is rooted in Christian faith and welcomes women from every background. Prayer is offered with consent. Specialized needs are referred to appropriate providers.
